Alivia's 3 Months!

This last month has been a bit more interesting :) My baby is a roller! I have yet to witness it first hand but she has rolled from her tummy at least 4 times. 3 times Brandon seen and once I went to get her out of her crib and she was rolled over. The first time was two weeks ago when I was gone to V-ball. Exactly two weeks later she rolled 2 times in a row for Brandon while I was at vball :( My loving husband caught one time on video for me, but it's too dark for here :( I don't think it will be long before she rolls from her back to her tummy, she gets over on her side and then rolls back. She is talking/cooing alot, almost like she is having a conversation with you. She is smiling a ton and has found her little squeal, which she likes the sound of and does alot. She knows when we leave her alone in a room and squeals after a few minutes, makes things a bit more challenging but she is definitely more fun now :) She is 23 inches long and close to 12lbs I'm guessing. I'm going to try and get her weighed this week. She also brings her hands together and plays with them. Alaina is alot better with her now, which has its down sides lol She likes to help me burp her, rubbing and patting her back at the same time as me. She knows her name now but it sounds more like Reeva. She has tried to pick her up a couple of times and I said she's heavy, no no. And she made the grunting noise, ooo heavy and doesn't bother now, phew!

Canatara Park

Brandon wanted to take the girls to do something on his birthday, Sunday, June 22nd. We were going to head to the Bay but it was dark that way so we decided to go someplace new and headed to Canatara park in Sarnia. There's a little children's animal farm and it's free! Of course when we got there it started to rain, so we ate in the car at the beach and watched the boats. When the rain let up we went through the animal farm and Alaina and daddy chased the ducks lol That was Alaina's favourite part, she talked about it all the way home :) It looked like it was going to rain again so we didn't get to play at the playground or on the beach, that was a bummer. Next trip :) It was still a good day together as a family.

Father's Day 2008

We had a busy weekend, three Father's day dinners :) This year I made Brandon and all the Grandpa's T-shirts, Melissa gave me the idea and ended up helping me with the girl's hand prints :) A couple turned out better than the others. At Papa Coles', all the kids had fun in the pool and then made a mess eating their popsicles after supper, especially Alaina LOL. I was busy with Alivia and didn't get any pictures of all the kids in the pool and Brandon was in the pool :( Next get together I will have to be more on top of picture taking!

Preschooler :(

I can't believe my first baby is 2 today and is now considered a preschooler!! Where has the time gone? :( We celebrated yesterday with all the grandparents. It was extremely hot outside so Alaina played in her pool while the adults gabbed :) She got a bunch of clothes, some money, bouncy ball to sit on, dress up gear and a talking Dora tricycle! I made her a cupcake butterfly cake for the first time and I must pat myself on the back. Even Brandon couldn't stop commenting on it :D The wind kept blowing the candles out as fast as Brandon could lite them. We tried to get a picture of Alaina with all the grandparents as they left but she didn't want to stop playing so they aren't the best but better than nothing! Then we drove around after the huge storm hit Dresden and looked at all the trees down and I think everyone was out! We had no hydro and poor Alaina wanted to watch a movie so we had to distract her the only way we could think of. Well she enjoyed it soo much, she cried when we came back home, she's as nosy as her father LOL
This morning I took Alivia to Nanny's while Alaina and I attended our very first Teddy Bear Picnic at the Library. We sang songs, had snack, watched a puppet show, did a craft, blew bubbles and caught teddy bears fishing, and had story time! It was a very exciting morning. Then home for lunch and nap time, whew! This is where I did some cleaning up and wrapping the gifts we bought for Alaina :) We gave Alaina her presents when Brandon came home. We just got a few books and a puzzle, it's blocks with a different puzzle on each side, so 6 puzzles total! She loved it, I hope as she gets older she is this easy to please, YA RIGHT! I like to wait until after her birthday to go shopping for her and pick up more clothes or other things she may need and didn't get so there's no doubles. Plus, I've been wanting to go the states to get real bargains, so this Wed we are doing that. We also redid her cake blowing for her, I've loaded the video for that. Don't mind the half a cake lol Aunt Theresa and the kids came by with a gift for her too, that was a nice surprise! She got more books, a charm for her bracelet and an outdoor play kit equipped with chalk and bubble blowing gadgets :) Thanks again everyone!!!

Alaina's Boyfriend

celebrated his second birthday, on Sunday. His actual birthday is May 29th. Here's a couple pics of them on the swings together. He got a power wheels gator and the two of them were cruising all over the yard in it. He even had his arm around her at one point. I didn't get a picture but Ethan's parents did. I will post them as soon as I get them :)

2 Months!

Alivia turned two months on May 24th :( Time goes by so much faster with two kids. She had her first shots today and did great! She only cried a few seconds and was fast asleep shortly after we got home :) She weighed 10 lbs 13oz and 21.5 inches long. Such a big girl already. She is smiling alot now and started to squeal for her little laugh. She is watching our mouths intensely and has discovered the t.v. She tries really hard to talk back to us, it's soo funny to watch.

First Family Pictures

Well, we attempted some family pictures outside. We were so concerned with getting Alaina to look we forgot to make sure you could see Alivia's face! So we have to try again another day to get better ones to print for everyone :)
