Happy Easter!!

So this past Monday we painted Easter Eggs with Alaina and got a couple of decorations out that we own. I decided to go with Styrofoam eggs for this year. I also didn't buy any special paint so we used what we had on hand, not too festive but Alaina had a blast and that's what matters :) I just noticed that I didn't get any pics of the finished product, it's only Good Friday so when I post about the rest of the weekend I can do it then :) It might be a month from now though LOL

Today was the annual Easter Candy hunt at the kinsmen park. We took Alaina up and she had so much fun. It wasn't really a hunt, more like a bend over and grab as much as you can! Since we are newbies at this, we didn't think to bring a bag or basket so we used daddy's hat LOL Alaina mostly wanted the yellow foil chocolate bunnies.
There was a wait for a picture with the Easter bunny so we had Alaina back in her stroller to leave (she was falling asleep on the way there) but was able to get this quick pic on the way home :)

Silly Alaina

Alaina loves to play with her kitchen, by play, I mean destroy! We just throw all the accessories in the oven part and she opens it and double hand empties it screaming "aahhhhhh". Then makes sure it's spread all over the floor! We hate having to help her clean it up but it does keep her busy for a while :)

Just hanging out watching t.v.
Sporting Mrs. Potato Head's accessories :P
Putting Daddy's CLEAN underwear on LOL

Home Prenatal Pics

We had to reschedule our professional Prenatal Pics last minute and I was afraid I would have the baby before I could get some family ones done. So we attempted to do a few at home. It was challenging but got some decent ones nonetheless. :)
36.5 weeks
We ended up getting our Professional ones done this past monday but probably won't get them back now until after the baby is born, boy will I think I'm huge then!

Friends Update

We have been really busy the last month. I finished work a bit earlier than planned and don't have the net at home yet so blogging has been a challenge.
We had Auntie Hope and family over for dinner to celebrate her birthday (21st) on Feb 23. I sure didn't realize how big my little girl has become until this cute pic!! Couldn't you just eat Zach up!!
Alaina (20.5 months) Zach (3.5 months)
We also had a play date with Jess and Arwen (7.5 months) last weekend. (of course I forgot to take pics!) That was fun. Alaina had fun taking all Arwen's stuff to Jess. Thanks again for the gift for baby Coles too!
We went and visited the Howe family this week. Kay was at school but Meghan, Lily and Jack had fun with Alaina. Lily and Alaina are pretty much the same age so it was fun watching them together. Alaina kept asking 7 month old Jack if he needed help, had to explain to her he can't talk yet lol. She was trying to feed him his bottle while he was in his Jolly Jumper and wanted to help him jump in it. :) Her biggest interest as usual was the puppy! Once again I neglected to take my camera out of the bag :(
These next pics are from a more recent play date (yesterday) with Alexis (5 months) and Candy. She really wanted puppy Roxy to come in the house, but enjoyed running over to the door and telling her to get down LOL Alaina had fun and talked about candy later on that day :) Thanks again.
