Molars!

Alaina has her first bottom molar! Another one is making it's way through too. She has been managing very well too, she's such a toughie. One up side is she's been extra cuddly :) She gives the best hugs I swear, she wraps her arms around and pats your back or rubs it, soo sweet! Sometimes she puts her head on your shoulder too. She just melts our hearts :) She's saying thank you all the time, but no one but me can understand it LOL I only know she's trying to say it cause I say it all the time after she gives me something, so she says it after she gives me something now lol Don't know if I mentioned this before, but I LOVE this age lol

13 Months

Well Alaina turned 13months this past Monday. She is not only a full time walker, she is almost in a run! She is starting to talk in full sentences, of course we don't understand anything she is saying but she looks at us and waits for a response lol. She says uh oh all the time. She has become a gangsta baby, Brandon taught her to dance waving her one arm up and down in front of her! I have to get it on video still :P She's climbing up on most of the furniture and is trying to open the doors by the knobs now. I really love this age, she is getting such a personality. She cracks us up all the time, the new things she does everyday and tries to do. Only downside is her frustration fits and throwing her food on the floor! Of course I miss certain things from all the different stages though. :(

A DAY AT THE BAY

We took Alaina to Mitchel's Bay this past Sunday for the afternoon. It was packed! Apparently, we weren't the only ones that thought it was the perfect beach day ;P We ran into Nan and our cousins there too, was a nice surprise! It has been years since Brandon and I have been there, alot has changed. They have a splash pad now, lots of playground equipment and the beach was nice and clean :)

Splish Splash!

I bought Alaina this adorable little island pool. We set it up last night for her to play in after dinner. Since it wasn't basking in the sun all day it was a bit cold. She played a bit but it was definitely too cold! We are hoping to try it out again today. We went and visited with Chandra and her family in the afternoon too. It was soo nice to able to see her twice this trip home! And it just happened to be her birthday :) Alaina had fun exploring another new place and watching all the kids (10 plus 2 on the way)! Those Wiersma girls are baby making machines :P Alaina slept all the way home she was soo worn out lol

Father's Day :)

HAPPY BELATED FATHER'S DAY TO ALL DADDIES!!

Haven't been able to post for a while but now we can catch you up! :)

We had an eventful Father's Day weekend. Saturday morning we had a yard sale, most people wanted to buy Alaina's little Tyke Stuff that was not for sale! But we still got rid of alot :) We had a visit with Chandra and Baby Trae. He soo tiny, well to me, Chan seemed to think him and Alaina were almost the same size lol. Then Alaina and I cooled off in the neighbours pool. When Daddy got home from work we headed over to my parents for a father's day dinner and visit. Sunday we headed over to Greenview Aviaries. Alaina like petting the animals that came near her, the goats seemed to be her favourite. Then we splashed a bit in the water park and bounced on the trampoline (well Alaina did with our help). Next stop to Grandma & Papa Coles' for another Father's day dinner with the family. Lots of swimming and eating. I had to watch from the sidelines, forgot my swimsuit :( Always nice to see everyone :) Alaina and I were so exhausted we fell asleep as soon as our heads hit the pillows!

Big First Birthday Bash!

Well, here's the story, of a girl named Alaina, who was celebrating her first birthday. It all started at the Dresden Legion, on Saturday, June 9th at 1pm. (that was suppose to be edited by the Brady bunch theme song if you didn't catch on lol) Anyways, Alaina was such the perfect little party girl. She was good and happy the whole time, even being passed around to several people. She sat through all of her presents, she opened a few and then just wanted to play with the paper and watch her cousins. Then she got ready to get down and dirty :P She ate her cake like a little girly girl. Picking up little pieces and eating it all proper. She doesn't like her hands to get really dirty so she started to shake them to get some cake off, needless to say it flew everywhere lol. I can't brag enough about how great she was that day and how proud she made me! She went home for a nap and then played some more with some after party visitors. The next morning we had to wake her up at 9am after 13hours of sleep! She had a big morning nap and then we had to wake her up from her afternoon nap so she wouldn't be too far off her schedule for the next day! I guess she was partied out lol. We didn't get alot of pictures with people, I was really bummed about that but here are some good pics and videos :)
